Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) students in South Korea were able to secure a gold medal in the World Choir Games held in 2023. The group, which featured 27 members, was able to claim victories in the categories of scenic folklore and Folklore a cappella.

The members of the choir were assisted by experienced coaches and mentors, such as Prof. Itji Diana Daud and Prof. Nurpudji Astuti, who taught them a lot. In addition, the group’s music director, Ir. Ansari Sanusi, helped them improve their skills.

The event’s pinnacle was reached on July 7, when the results of the competition were announced. The members of the PSM UNHAS choir traveled to various countries to compete against some of the world’s best groups. Their skills and enthusiasm stunned the judges and captivated the audience.
