The 2024 Pertukaran Pemuda Antar Negara (PPAN) or International Youth Exchange Program Roadshow event was held at Mattulada Hall, Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB), Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) on March 7, 2024, in collaboration with the International Office (IO), UNHAS. The IO represented by Khaeruddin, Ph.D saw this road show as an important opportunity for UNHAS students in non academic mobility programs. There were a number of mobility programs conducted at the university that were only related to academic pursuit. Joining the road show were the alumni of the program including Fadhil Adiyat (Indonesia Korea Youth Exchange Program (IKYEP) 2022), Anugrah Yuda Pratama (Indonesia Korea Youth Exchange Program (IKYEP) 2023), Anggun Anisa Najamuddin (The Ship for Southeast Asia and Japanese Youth Program (SSEAYP) 2023), Haerun Nisa (Singapore Indonesia Youth Leaders Exchange Programme (SIYLEP) 2023) and Faisal Australia Indonesia Youth Exchange Program (AIYEP) 2020).
This activity was attended by students who were interested in understanding the international youth exchange program both regarding the programs available, the selection process required, and also listening to lessons learned and best practices provided by alumni who participated in the program. At this event, three PPAN from 2023 alumni who just completed their programs in their respective destination countries held experience sharing sessions with UNHAS students from various different faculties. The hope was that this event can become a bridge of information for UNHAS students to take part in the upcoming youth exchange program.
