Toyohashi University of Technology (TUT) visited the Faculty of Engineering (FT), at the Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) Gowa Campus on 5th January 2023 to discuss cooperation between the two universities. The TUT delegation was led by Prof. Junichiro Asano accompanied by Associate Prof. Dr. Shirou Tsuboi, and 5 TUT architecture master students. They were warmly received by Prof. Adi Maulana, the Vice Rector of Partnership, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Business, accompanied by Prof. Isran Ramli, the FT Dean, and the architecture & engineering academic community.
During this visit, the TUT delegation explained that in the future there will be a public lecture which will be attended by lecturers and students of both universities. In addition, it is hoped that there will be an exchange of students between TUT and UNHAS as a part of the cooperation. Furthermore, the universities are expected to conduct joint research on strategic fields. UNHAS will continue to expand cooperation with potential partners from various countries. Moreover, the cooperation that has been established will be maintained and strengthened in order to create a sustainable impact for all parties.
