On July 11, 2023, the Korean Foundation’s team visited the Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) Library’s Korean Corner. They were led by Choi Hyun-Soo, the foundation’s director. Other members of the group included Lee Jeoun Soon, a lecturer at the university’s Department of Korean Language Education, and Shin Young Duk, a professor. The delegation was welcomed by Muhammad Ridwan, the International Office (IO) representative of UNHAS, and Muhammad Syahrum, the director of the Korean Corner.
The delegation’s visit started with a One-Day Korean Class, which was facilitated by Professor Shin. The participants, who were UNHAS students, were made more attractive by the interactive nature of the class. After the class, Mr. Choi showed the delegation various books about the KF profile. In addition, Mr. Choi wanted to hold another session, which would be facilitated by the IO. He noted that he would like to involve some experts in sharing their knowledge with UNHAS’ academic community. The IO would then invite students and teachers.
