Nearly 100 Students Join Stuvo Batch 4 Recruitment at International Office
The International Office (IO) of Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) recently held the interview session for Student Volunteer (Stuvo) Batch 4 applicants on Sunday, 17 August 2025, at the IO Meeting Room. This recruitment attracted nearly 100 enthusiastic students who share a strong passion for internationalisation engagement and supporting UNHAS’ global initiatives.
The interview panel consisted of prominent IO leaders and staff, including Andi Masyitha Irwan, Ph.D. (Head of IO), Muhammad Ridwan, M.A. (Secretary of IO), Khaeruddin, Ph.D., and Haniek Khoirunnissa, M.Sc. (IO Task Force Members). Kumara Tungga Dewa, S.S., and Cahya Aulia Ramadhani, S.I.Kom, accompanied them. (IO Staff), who collectively assessed the candidates’ motivation, communication skills, and potential contribution to the program.
This stage marked another important step in the recruitment process, which was officially opened from mid-July to mid-August. Applicants who pass the interview will officially join as volunteers. To ensure commitment and active participation, the IO has set a regulation that any volunteer who remains inactive for two consecutive months will be suspended from the program. This policy is intended to maintain the consistency and dedication of the volunteer team throughout their one-year service.
Once selected, the Stuvo will be actively involved in a wide range of international activities organised by the IO. These include the International Student Orientation, International Student Festival, International Student Gathering, Geography Series, and other initiatives that foster cross-cultural exchange and strengthen UNHAS’s internationalisation agenda.
