Universitas Padjadjaran has just completed its annual activity entitled Unpad Hybrid Summer Program from Monday (1/8/2022) to Tuesday (9/8/2022). This year’s hybrid summer program has the theme “A Multidisciplinary Geoscience Approach to Cultural, Climate Change, and Sustainable Development”. This theme is based on the increasing impact of global warming which results in various natural disasters in the hemisphere, including Indonesia.
More than 100 Participants from 10 Countries Join Hybrid Summer Program. Online participants came from Malaysia, Japan, Poland, Iran, Madagascar, Yemen, China, Pakistan, Tanzania, and Indonesia. At the same time, participants who took part offline came from Malaysia, Japan, and China.
Mohammed Hussein Mohammed Ba Naga is one of the participants who managed to get several awards at this Summer Program, including:
- Best Presenter
- Best Participant
- Best Final Project
“Since the beginning of FTGSHP I had no single thought that I will be an advanced competitive, However, with some patience, I’ve done the impossible among approximately 150 participants from 10 countries, and I hope that can be followed with several accomplishments in my future’s career,” said Mohammad Hussein.
He added that this activity helped him in preparation for the upcoming semester. Muhammad Hussein previously came in early 2022 when Indonesia was gradually recovering after the Covid-19 Pandemic. The next semester is his second semester at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Hasanuddin. The International Office of Unhas hopes that Muhammad Hussein’s achievement can inspire other international students to optimize their potential during their studies in Indonesia.
