Hasanuddin University Units Gather to Discuss EQUITY Program Dissemination

After the Rector of Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) signed the EQUITY budget contract with the government to strengthen university capacity, the Directorate of Reputation Enhancement, led by Prof. Rohani Ambo Rappe (Director), organised a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to disseminate the details of the contract to related units responsible for the program’s implementation. The FGD took place on Tuesday, 2 September 2025, from 09.00 to 12.00 WITA at the Directorate’s meeting room.

The invited units included the International Office (IO), the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Centre, the Institute of Research and Community Services (LP2M), and the Directorate of Reputation Enhancement itself. During the session, participants received detailed information about the contract and discussed their respective roles in carrying out the EQUITY program.

Looking ahead, each unit is expected to design comprehensive guidelines for the UNHAS academic community. These guidelines will serve as a reference for faculties or units interested in submitting proposals for EQUITY funding. The Directorate aims to finalise all the guidelines by Monday, 8 September 2025, ensuring that the process is clear and accessible for all stakeholders.
