Hands-On Cultural Learning Highlights Completion of Korean Language Class at Korea Corner
The Korean Language Class at Korea Corner (KC) concluded with an interactive cultural session on Wednesday, 10 December 2025, led by Muhammad Syahrum, Head of Korea Corner. The closing activity, centered on a Korean cooking class, created a welcoming and energetic learning environment, reflecting the strong enthusiasm of participants and the positive atmosphere fostered throughout the program.

Students took part in preparing several traditional Korean dishes, including jumeokbap, bibimbap, odeng, japchae, and homemade kimchi. Working collaboratively in groups, participants not only practiced culinary techniques but also applied newly learned Korean vocabulary in a practical setting. This hands-on approach enhanced language comprehension while promoting teamwork and cultural understanding.

Beyond cooking, the session included group singing and informal interactions with the instructor (ssaem), strengthening interpersonal connections and encouraging active participation. These moments contributed to a supportive learning environment and further motivated students to engage deeply with the Korean language and its cultural context.
The event concluded with a group photo session, marking the successful completion of the Korean Language Class. Overall, the activity served as a meaningful platform for cultural exchange, reinforcing Korea Corner’s commitment to promoting international understanding through language education and experiential learning.
