Enhancing Global Learning: UNHAS Nursing Faculty Hosts Two Visiting Lectures with Japan Partners

The Faculty of Nursing (FKep), Hasanuddin University (UNHAS), has conducted two Visiting Lecture sessions delivered by Hiroki Yabe, PT., Ph.D and Iida Taeko, OTR., MS from Seirei Christopher University, Japan, as part of the ongoing academic collaboration between both institutions.

The first Visiting Lecture was held for the Physiotherapy Study Program on Monday, 8 December 2025, at 08:00 AM, carrying the topic: “The Importance of Multidisciplinary Team Care (MTC) Including Rehabilitation.”This session was moderated by Yery Mustari, S.Ft., Physio., MClinRehab, and provided students with in-depth insights into the essential role of multidisciplinary collaboration in supporting effective rehabilitation outcomes.

The second Visiting Lecture was organized for the Master’s Program and Medical-Surgical Nursing Specialist Program on Tuesday, 9 December 2025, at 08:00 AM, titled: “Beyond Physical Rehabilitation: Advancing Patient-Centered Multidisciplinary Care.” This lecture was moderated by Ummi Pratiwi Rimayanti, S.Kep., Ns., MN., Ph.D, and highlighted holistic, patient-centered, and multidisciplinary approaches in advanced nursing practice.

Both lecture sessions offered valuable academic enrichment and strengthened the international partnership between UNHAS and Seirei Christopher University, enhancing global exposure and learning opportunities for students and faculty members.
