Inauguration of Winslow English Club (WEC) Management Board 2025–2026

Winslow English Club (WEC) officially inaugurated its Management Board for the 2025–2026 period in a formal and well-organized ceremony held at the Faculty of Public Health (FKM), Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) on 11 February 2026. The inauguration marked the beginning of a new leadership term and served as a strategic momentum to strengthen the organization’s contribution to student development.

The inauguration was formally officiated by the Dean of FKM UNHAS, on behalf of Prof. Sukri Palutturi, S.KM., M.Kes., M.Sc.PH., Ph.D. The ceremony consisted of the reading of the pledge by the newly appointed management board and the symbolic conferment of the official organizational vest, representing official recognition, responsibility, and commitment to the organization.

Winslow English Club (WEC) is a faculty-based student activity unit under the Faculty of Public Health, UNHAS. WEC actively supports the vision and mission of the Faculty of Public Health and UNHAS toward internationalization by strengthening students’ English proficiency in academic writing, public speaking, and professional communication. Through these efforts, WEC prepares students to participate in international academic forums, global collaborations, and cross-border public health initiatives.

A total of 40 management board members were officially inaugurated for the 2025–2026 period, led by Ash Habul Kahfi Fahlefi as the Chairperson of Winslow English Club. Under this new leadership, WEC is expected to further enhance students’ English communication skills and foster a competitive academic environment aligned with global standards in public health.

Through its programs and activities, Winslow English Club is expected to consistently contribute to the development of globally competent students. The organization is anticipated to strengthen the international outlook of the Faculty of Public Health, UNHAS, while supporting sustainable student development and academic excellence in the years to come.
