Faculty of Nursing UNHAS Welcomes Inbound Students from Okayama University, Japan

Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University (UNHAS), welcomed two inbound students from Okayama University, Japan, during an official welcoming ceremony held in the Senate Room of the Faculty of Nursing on Monday, 6 October 2025. This event marked the beginning of a collaborative internship program scheduled to run from October 6 to November 6, 2025.

The welcoming ceremony was attended by the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of the Faculty of Nursing, Syahrul, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes., Ph.D, also with Head of International Office UNHAS, Andi Masyitha Irwan, S. Kep., Ns., MAN., Ph. D, and lecturers and the international team of the UNHAS Faculty of Nursing. The event was highlighted by a speech from the Vice Dean, who expressed his delight and high hopes for the exchange of knowledge and culture over the coming month. Symbolically, the students were then welcomed as part of the extended family of the Faculty of Nursing through the presentation of temporary student cards, which will facilitate their access to various campus facilities and activities during their stay.

Following the reception session, the inbound students were invited on a tour of the faculty and university campus to introduce them to their new academic environment, including the laboratories and library. It is hoped that this will allow them to quickly adapt and carry out their internship with great enthusiasm.
