The International Office (IO) of Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) has officially resumed its Friday Outbound Clinic (FOC), providing students and alumni with valuable guidance on studying abroad. The first session took place on Friday, 7 March 2025, via Zoom, featuring Akbar, Ph.D., an academic and recipient of the Australia Awards Scholarship.

Mr. Akbar led an engaging session on “Studying in Australia, Learning from Alumni: Visa, Scholarship, and Student Life.” He shared firsthand experiences and essential information on the application process, scholarship opportunities, and student life in Australia. Participants also had the opportunity to ask questions, receiving direct insights based on his academic journey.

The event was moderated by Khaeruddin, Ph.D., a member of IO UNHAS. Around 20 participants, including students, staff, and alumni, actively engaged in discussions, gaining a deeper understanding of international study opportunities.

The Friday Outbound Clinic is a biweekly initiative by the IO aimed at preparing students for international education by connecting them with alumni and experts. Future sessions will feature guest speakers with global experience, covering key topics essential for outbound students.
