On August 15th, 2024, Mandarin and Chinese Culture Department (MCCD), Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) hosted a heartfelt Departure Ceremony for 14 students embarking on the 2+2 Joint Degree MCCD at Nanchang University (NU), China. The event took place at Mattulada Hall, Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB), and was attended by key university figures, including Prof. Akin Duli, M.A., (Dean of FIB), who encouraged the students to dedicate themselves to their studies at NU. Dian Sari Unga Waru, S.S., M.TCSOL (Head of the MCCD), Head of the MCCD, officially presented the certificates of acceptance to the students, marking a significant milestone in their academic journey.
The ceremony was also attended by Dr. Mardi Adi Armin (Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of FIB), and Muhammad Ridwan, M.A., (International Office Secretary), along with fellow Heads of Department. Prof. Wan also delivered a touching speech that highlighted his strong bond with the students, illustrating the supportive and personal relationship he has developed with them. The event concluded with a celebratory photo session, capturing the excitement and anticipation of the students as they prepare for their international academic adventure.
