Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas), Dr. Ariyanti Saleh, S.Kp., M.Sc., welcomed two inbound students from Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen, the Netherlands which took place in the senate room of the Faculty of Nursing, Unhas at 14.00 WITA, Thursday (14/04).
Related parties were also present at the welcoming ceremony; including the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Research and Innovation (Syahrul Said, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes., Ph.D.), the Vise Dean for Planning, Finance and Resources (Dr. Erfina, S. Kep., Ns., M.Kep), the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Partnerships (Dr. Takdir Tahir, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes), and Head of the Nursing Profession Study Program (Dr. Rosyidah Arafat, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep., Sp.KMB).
The Adhoc Team for International Class Non-Degree Students in collaboration with Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen, Netherland attended the event as well.
The two inbound students are Bram Muller and Minke Marchien Ploeger. They will officially start the nursing profession non-degree program which is scheduled to last for three months.
This Non-Degree Program is a collaboration between the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Hasanuddin, and Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen, Netherland.
Dr. Ariyanti Saleh, the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, in her speech, introduced the faculty facilities and learning programs to the two inbound students. She hopes that they can attain experience and competencies during the implementation process of the nursing practice.
“We deeply hope that this professional nursing practice program can be run well and result in expected outcomes. Before starting the program, they will follow the Introductory Culture and Language Program,” explained Dr. Ariyanti.
Furthermore, Dr. Ariyanti said that while participating in the program, the two students will receive guidance and assistance from the lecturer team of the Nursing Faculty, Unhas.
After the remarks, the event was followed by an introduction session from the Inbound Students, vice deans, the head of the Nursing Study program, and the Adhoc team.
