Overview

The Nursing Study Program at the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University (PSIK FK UNHAS) began to be actively held in July 2000 based on the Decree on the Establishment of Study Programs number 236 / DIKTI / Kep / 1999.

Hasanuddin University Faculty of Nursing was established as a Faculty in September 2017 based on the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology, and Indonesian Higher Education. The Faculty is the largest Nursing Faculty in Eastern Indonesia.

In 2019, the Nursing Study Program of Hasanuddin University managed to get accreditation A from the Independent Accreditation Institute for Higher Education in Health Indonesia (LAMPT-Kes) and managed to get international accreditation ASIIN, an accredited institution based in Germany.

The faculty has collaborated with the Type A Hospital in the city as a teaching hospital to provide a high standard of service. The main hospitals located around the campus include Hasanuddin University Hospital and Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo General Hospital. In addition, the faculty has also collaborated with various hospitals for clinical teaching and several Public Health Centers.

The Faculty of Nursing is very committed to producing alumni with competitive international standards in this globalization era. They also continue to seek innovations in the education system, especially through cooperation with international institutions. In addition, the Faculty also strives to contribute to society through community service programs. In addition, various studies are funded from local, national, and international collaborations.
