The Faculty of Nursing (FKep) of Hasanuddin University is holding The 4th International Nursing and Health Sciences Student and Health Care Professionals Conference (INHSP) 2021. This activity is a series of the 4th Anniversary of the Faculty of Nursing Unhas.

INHSP 2021 carries the theme “Embracing Innovations in Health Sciences, Nursing Education & Practice through Research for Achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”. The opening of the conference took place from 08.00 Wita virtually through the Zoom meeting application, Wednesday (15/09).

Present as keynote speakers are:

– Prof. Lisa McKenna (La Trobe University, Australia),
– Prof. Junko Sugama, PhD., RN (Fujita Health University, Japan),
– Heejung Kim, RN, Ph.D., GNP (Yonsei University, South Korea),
– Sanne Heinen, MSc (Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, Netherland),
– Prof. dr. Abdul Kadir, Ph.D. Sp.ENT-KL (K) M.A.R.S. (Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health, Indonesia),
– Drs. Yusri Zamhuri, MA., Ph.D. (Director of SDGs Centre, Hasanuddin University, Indonesia).

Starting the activity, Dr. Erfina, BSN., MN., as the Chief Executive of the activity in his speech thanked all the speakers who attended. Their presence provides insight into evidence-based research and practice in nursing around the world to improve the quality of healthcare.

“This conference is a form of collaboration to share information on developments in the world of health through evidence of scientific publications and as a form of support for Unhas as a World Class University,” explained Dr. Erfina.

On the same occasion, the Dean of FKep Unhas Dr. Ariyanti Saleh, S.Kp., M.Sc., said that although the conference was held virtually, it would not reduce the quality and essence of the activity.

“INHSP 2021 is a form of collaboration between Unhas Medical Faculty and overseas campus partners who have contributed a lot to improving the quality and quality of professional graduates,” said Ariyanti.

The activity was officially opened by the Vice-Chancellor for Research, Innovation, and Partnerships at Unhas, Prof. dr. Nasrum Massi, Ph.D. In his remarks, he hoped that the presence of INHSP 2021 could improve Unhas’ achievements as a World Class University and the implementation of Unhas as a humaniversity.
