On 23, 24, 30 June, and 1-6 July 2021, the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University in collaboration with La Trobe University Australia, has implemented the International Program on Health, Language and Culture (InHeal) Program via Online. This activity aimed to introduce the education system, language, and culture related to the health sector in each of the institutional countries, namely Indonesia and Australia. This activity was attended by students who had been previously selected, and several lecturers and education staff at each institution.

In the opening session of the activity, the Director of Cooperation of Hasanuddin University, Dr. Mahatma Lanuru, ST., M.Sc, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, Mrs. Dr. Ariyanti Saleh, S.Kp., M.Si, and Associate Head of School Nursing and Midwifery La Trobe University, David Edvardsson. Some of the guest speakers in this activity were Herni Susanti, SKp. M N. Ph.D. as a lecturer in Mental Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, University of Indonesia and Musmulyono, S.Kep., Ns. MHPA from Hasanuddin University Hospital. Some of the activities carried out in the program are:

  3. Major Health Issues in Indonesia: Mental Health and Mothers and New Born
  4. Natural Disasters in Indonesia
  5. Health Services in Indonesia
  6. Australian Culture and Health Issues
  7. Dance Practice
  8. Student Presentations; and others

It is hoped that this activity can be continued in the future as closer collaboration between the two institutions and can be developed into an activity that is carried out offline
