In the situation of the Covid-19 outbreak, two Unhas Nursing Faculty students were still able to get achievements at the national level in a competition titled Nursing Got Talent (NGT) held by the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Nursing, Syiah Kuala University, Aceh.
The two outstanding students of the Faculty of Nursing, namely Rati Mardatillah, who won 1st place in photography, and A. Hilmiyah Muhajrah, who won 2nd place in poetry. Through an interview on Friday (11/06), both of them participated in the competition after receiving information from the Nursing Student Association (HIMIKA).
“I chose the branch of photography because it’s a hobby, I already have experience in the field of photography, and I know how to use a DSLR and editing,” said Rati. The same thing was expressed by Rona, A. Hilmiyah Muhajrah’s nickname. Even though it is only based on hobbies, according to him, it is also important to pay attention to aspects of good work, in order to increase the chances of winning. “The key is in poetry that has a distinctive diction but is still easy to read, that’s where the artistic value is,” he explained.
Like other competitions during the pandemic, NGT 2021, which carries the theme “By Passion, Find The Potential, and Reach The Achievement”, will take place online from 20-29 May 2021.
