As many as two foreign students in the Inbound Student program in collaboration with the Nursing Study Program, the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University (FKep UH) and the Department of Nursing, Hanze University, Groningen, the Netherlands arrived in Makassar on January 29, 2020. Both students will undergo the clinical practice of Inbound Students program for 6 months at Wahidin Sudirohusodo Hospital Makassar (RSWS) and Hasanuddin University PTN Hospital (RSPTN UH). Before carrying out the process of nursing practice at the hospital, the two students were required to take part in a series of activities namely the official reception of FKH UH, the ICLEP program, Basic Life Support Training and other administrative arrangements.

The ICLEP (International Cultural and Language) program aims to provide a description of life in Makassar in general and specifically about campus life, UKM, username passwords and practices in hospitals as well as basic Indonesian language learning so students can adapt quickly. The ICLEP program starts on February 3 and ends on February 7, 2020, and is delivered by a team of lecturers who have experience in the ICLEP program in the previous batch of inbound students. Whereas the official program for foreign students to take place on Thursday, February 6, 2020, took place in the Senate Room, 5th-floor FKep UH. Also present at the event were the Dean of the UH Nursing Faculty, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Research and Innovation at the UH Nursing Faculty, the Chair of the Nursing Study Program, the Chair of the Nursing S1 Study Program, lecturers and educational staff of FKep UH. In the welcoming ceremony, Inbound Student students had the opportunity to get to know FKH UH academic community more closely and the regulation of nursing practice that they would live for the next 6 months.
