Student Affairs Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, once again held a Workshop on Student Creativity Program (PKM) for students and accompanying lecturers on October 12-13, 2019 at the LPMPP room of the Tamalanrea Unhas campus. This activity lasted for two days from 08.00-16.00 WITA and was attended by approximately 40 students and their accompanying lecturers. This activity was also attended by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Partnerships, Syahrul, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes., Ph.D. In his remarks, Syahrul hoped that the PKM Faculty of Nursing team could produce innovative works for the community, and the work was awarded a medal at PIMNAS 2020. Also attending and at the same time opening the event was the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Alumni, Prof. Dr. drg A. Arsunan Arsin., M.Kes who gave enthusiasm and hoped that students would be more creative and innovative in PKM. He also hopes that the proposals that are born are more competitive at the national level so that they can bring as much gold as possible in the upcoming PIMNAS 2020.
PKM workshop activities are divided into 2 sessions. The first session discussed the introduction of the Student Creativity Program (PKM), the writing technique of the 5 Field PKM proposal, and strategies for preparing proposals that could potentially pass PIMNAS. In the first session, presented Abdul Mollah Jaya., S.P., M.Sc as the resource person who is a national reviewer and judge of PIMNAS. In this session, sharing experiences with some PKM alumni of the Nursing Faculty who previously passed Ristekdikti funding. They shared their experiences in PKM as well as motivating and encouraging PKM to their younger generation. In the second session, participants presented their ideas and ideas. After that, the workshop participants were given the opportunity to express their creative ideas in the form of proposals according to their interests, which were divided into five types of PKM namely PKM Research (PKMP), Community Service PKM (PKMM), PKM Entrepreneurship (PKMK), PKM Technology (PKMT), and PKM Karsa Cipta (PKMKC).
This activity is one of the mandatory agenda programmed by the Faculty of Nursing Student Affairs. “This PKM is a routine agenda every year, from workshops/training, mentoring / coaching, to uploading proposals to Simbelmawa Ristekdikti, we help and facilitate the younger siblings of students to actualize their extraordinary creative ideas. After this workshop, students will consult intensively with each of the accompanying lecturers to deepen the substance of the proposal, “said Arnis Puspitha as chair of the PKM workshop committee who is also a member of the Hasanuddin University PKM Working Group.
