On Tuesday, August 26, 2019, the Hasanuddin University (Unhas) Faculty of Nursing received a visit from the Airlangga University (Unair) Faculty of Nursing Dean Team (Unair) with the aim of enhancing the Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi collaboration between the two universities. In addition, the Unair Faculty of Nursing is also benchmarking the Unhas Nursing Faculty in preparation for the international accreditation process of ASIIN (Accreditation Agency for Degree Programs in Engineering, Informatics / Computer Science, the Natural Sciences and Mathematics).
The Unair Faculty of Nursing Dean Team who came to visit was chaired by Deputy Dean 1 Dr. Kusnanto, S.Kp., M.Kes, Coordinator of the Publication and Community Service Research Unit Ferry Efendi, S, Kep., Ns., M.Sc., PhD, Coordinator of Nursing Study Program Tiyas Kusumaningrum ,. Ns., M.Kep., Coordinator of Nursing Masters Study Program Dr. Tintin Sukartini, S.Kp., M.Kes and Coordinator of Quality Assurance, Faculty of Nursing, Aria Auia Nastiti, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes.
The arrival of the Unair Faculty of Nursing Dean team was welcomed with open arms from the Dean of the Hasanuddin University Nursing Faculty, Dr. Ariyanti Saleh, S.Kp., M.Si accompanied by Deputy Dean for Academic, Research & Innovation; and Student Affairs, Alumni & Partnerships Rini Rachmawaty, S.Kep., Ns., MN., PhD, and Deputy Dean of Planning, Finance and Resources Dr. Kadek Ayu Erika, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes, Chair of the Nursing Master Study Program Dr. Elly L. Sjattar, S.Kp., M.Kes, Chair of the Nursing Undergraduate Study Program Dr. Yuliana Syam, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes, and lecturers at the Faculty of Nursing Unhas.
The Unhas Nursing Faculty was very pleased with the arrival of the dean team from the Unair Nursing Faculty. Their arrival was to discuss 3 important matters, namely first about cooperation in the field of research publications, secondly preparations for the opening of the Specialist Study Program (Prodi) and finally the preparation of the ASIIN international accreditation process for Nursing Studies and Nursing Masters.
This visit is a form of collaboration carried out in order to improve the achievement of World Class University indicators, especially in terms of research and publications. Not only that, the Airlangga University gave Unhas Faculty of Nursing lecturer research publications and there will be further discussion on the MoU. In addition, the second discussion was the opening of Specialist Study Program, which plans to be opened to develop nursing science in Indonesia. And finally the sharing of preparations, overview, processes and tips in order to pass the ASIIN accreditation because the Faculty of Nursing has already been ASIIN accredited.
