Kanazawa University is a leading university on the Sea of Japan coast, the University has contributed greatly to Japanese higher education and academic research since it was founded in 1949. One of the University’s charms lies in being able to study in Kanazawa, a city rich in history and traditional culture. Kanazawa has cultivated a respected intellectual profile since the time of the Kaga fiefdom (1598 – 1867). Lively interaction among students, communication with staff, and the local community make it the perfect venue for students’ personal growth and development.
We are pleased to inform you that the application for Kanazawa University Online Short-term Exchange Programs (KUEP) 2023-2024 is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.
Eligibility
- Undergraduate (S1) or graduate (S2/S3) students.
- Enrolled in Universitas Hasanuddin during the program.
- Be proficient in Japanese/English. Applicants wishing to take courses given in Japanese must have a level of skill in the Japanese language equal to or higher than level N2 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. Those wishing to take courses given in English must have a level of skill in the English language higher than TOEIC Listening & Reading Test700, TOEFL-iBT 72, TOEFL-PBT 527, IELTS 5.5, or Cambridge English 160.

Please let us know your candidate’s name and email address to st-exch@adm.kanazawa-u.ac.jp by the deadline below. Then we will notify candidates of the URL and password for online application form.

2. Post-nomination
Candidates should apply directly through the online application form by the deadline below.

Please also refer to the attached Notes on Recommendation of Students in making your recommendation.
Regarding the application form for the Japanese Language and Culture Program, we will send it to you around the end of January 2023 (It depends on the announcement by the Japanese Government.).
