The Faculty of Dentistry (Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi/FKG) of Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas) held an international conference entitled The 4th International Conference on Biophysical Technology in Dentistry. This year's conference has the theme "Welcoming New Normal in Dentistry During and After Pandemic: From Dental Research to Dental Practice."

Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas) through the Department of Japanese, Faculty of Cultural Sciences (Fakultas Ilmu Budaya/FIB), in collaboration with Faculty of Cultural Sciences of Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) and of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), held a webinar with the theme "Japanese Indonesian Microhistory". The Faculty of Pharmacy of Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas) presented innovative ready-to-serve beverage products, concentrate syrup, and instant drinks in the form of powder/granules from rosella flower petals. This innovative product containing the extract of rosella flower petal, vitamin C, and stevia sugar is formulated based on empirical experience and research.

Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas) through the Environmental Research and Development Center (Pusat Penelitian dan Pengembangan Lingkungan Hidup/PPLH), Institute for Research and Community Service (Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat /LP2M) held an environmental talk show with the theme "Ideas and Conceptualization for Effective Environmental Recovery (Case Study of Masamba Flash Flood)". The activity started at 13.30 pm virtually through the zoom meeting application, Saturday (25/07).

The academics community of Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas) published a book entitled "Merajut Asa di Tengah Pandemi Covid-19: Pandangan Akademisi Unhas". The book contains various multidisciplinary notes related to reflections, ideas, and actions to overcome the pandemic that struck since March 2020.

The Center of Disaster Study of Universitas Hasanuddin (UNHAS) conducted a preliminary survey of the causes and strategies for mitigation of the flood that struck Masamba, North Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi Province since Monday (07/13).
