Professional Engineering Program (known as Program Profesi Insinyur or PPI) recorded as the only program outside Java island in its kind that accredited by National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (BAN-PT). After obtaining the minimum accreditation in April 2018, PPI Unhas open registration for previous recognition learning (known as Rekognisi Pembelajaran Lampau or RPL).
Rector of Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr. Dwia Aries Tina Pulubuhu, MA, was invited to attend the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Global Leader Forum in Washington DC, United States, July 23-26 2018. Dwia was honored with four other rectors (UI, UNPAD, ITS, and UGM) accompanied Minister of State Owned Enterprises Rini Sumarno and Commissioner of Bank BNI.
The ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and members, Chairman of the Board of Professors and members, Chairman of the Senate and members, faculty and institute officials, and dozens of invited guests.
In order to collect public input concerning development policies of President Joko Widodo and Vice President Jusuf Kalla governance in its 4th-year term, Presidential Advisory Assembly made a motion to conduct National Dialogue 2017. The dialogue event topics are classified into several thematic fields.
Hasanuddin University and South Sulawesi Provincial Government, with the cooperation of the Institute for Social Transformation and Regional Development (TRANSFORM) and Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia University (UTHM), have conducted an International Conference entitled the 1st International Conference on Social Transformation and Regional Development (ICoSTRD) 2017.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding involved the Unhas Rector. Prof. Dr. Dwia Aries Tina Pulubuhu, MA and the Kalla Toyota Group Director, Hariyadi, and witnessed by the Vice Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Ir. Abdul Rasyid Jalil, M.Si, and Director of Asset, Dr. Muhammad Akbar, M.Si.
The event that was held attracted participants from DAAD programs, health practitioners, researchers, academics from universities, policymakers in the health sector, students, as well as community organization representatives in the field of health services and health observers.
In her opening remarks, Prof. Dwia stated that as academics, Unhas would need to be active in facilitating events such as this National Assembly. She further said that to advance national economic development, a comprehensive synergy will need to be constructed from the lowest to the highest level of decision makers.
