The event that was held attracted participants from DAAD programs, health practitioners, researchers, academics from universities, policymakers in the health sector, students, as well as community organization representatives in the field of health services and health observers.
In her opening remarks, Prof. Dwia stated that as academics, Unhas would need to be active in facilitating events such as this National Assembly. She further said that to advance national economic development, a comprehensive synergy will need to be constructed from the lowest to the highest level of decision makers.
The event entitled “Discussion Forum on Indonesian Diplomacy with Stakeholders” invited speakers from the Foreign Affairs Ministry including Busron Sodikin (Head of the Cross Institution and Ministry Programs Sub-Division), Marlisa Wahyuningsih Soepeno (Head of the President and Heads Monitoring Sub-Division).
The workshop consisted of 35 lecturers from Unhas and a number of universities in the Eastern part of Indonesia and was opened by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Junaedi Muhidong, MP. Also present at the event was Ms. Violet Rush, Vice Consul of the Australian Consulate General in Makassar.
The family gathering took place on Monday, 10 September 2017 at the Universitas Hasanuddin Tamalanrea Campus courtyard, initiated with leisure walks around the Tamalanrea Campus. The total amount of participants accumulated to 1.000 individuals and was inaugurated by the South Sulawesi Governor, Syahrul Yasin Limpo, along with the Unhas Rector, Prof. Dr. Dwia Aries Tina Pulubuhu, MA, and started 07.00 WITA.
Today, Tuesday (5/9/2017), Unhas graduated alumni for the university undergraduate programs that took place at Baruga AP. Pettarani, Unhas Campus, Tamalanrea. The event started on 08.00 WITA, and attended by the Unhas Rector, Academic Senate members, Vice Rectors, Deans, and the University Board of Trustees.
During the start of the event, Head of the Unhas LP2M, Prof. La Ode Asrul stated his high appreciation to the partnership and willingness of the Bantaeng Regency. “We attained a marvelous greeting. Not only are we facilitated for the success of this event, but we were also escorted from Makassar to Bantaeng. It is like we were picked up,” stated Prof. La Ode, greeted with laughs by the crowd.
Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) launched a new program "Researcher Development" on Friday, July 21, 2017. The "Researcher Development @UNHAS" program is designed to help the researcher (either academic staff or students) to publish their research articles in qualified journals.
After three study programs in Hasanuddin University accredited by “ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA), and now Master study program of Management Unhas fulfill accreditation requirements of “The Alliance on Business Education and Scholarship for Tomorrow (ABEST) 21st Century Organization”.
